Leave A Legacy. Three small words that have helped guide everything we do here at Legacy Gaming. Since day one, making videos and connecting with our community has been our passion, but as we’ve grown, we’ve realized that Legacy Gaming goes far beyond just talking about video games.

When Livid and I first met we had our own channels, our own ambitions, and our own ideas about what content would work on a platform such as YouTube. After months of stagnant growth, and quite honestly, frustration, we started talking about what a real partnership would look like. You’d think these things happen quickly, but it actually took a long time to build up the courage to say, “Ok…let’s do this.”

January 2020 was when things became official, and without even a second to really get our ducks in a row we dove into our first game, Temtem. At the time we weren’t sure exactly how we wanted to approach creating content. We knew we wanted to cover, “The next big game,” but as two guys still working full-time jobs, trying to keep up with more established channels was just impossible.

Fast-forward to March 2020 and the pandemic begins, a once-in-a-lifetime event that forced both Livid and myself to work-from-home. This was both a blessing and a curse. On one hand we were able to focus more on the channel, but at the same time we still had incredibly demanding jobs that required our full attention.

Truth is, working from home was a large part of the reason why we were able to grow our channel so quickly. By no means are we a large channel, but the flexibility allowed us to try new things, approach content without the pressures of being stuck at an office, and ultimately, grow our brand.

Legion Gaming was a short-lived experiment. Without going into too many details we were forced to change our name, but through that incredibly stressful process Legacy Gaming was born, and honestly, neither of us have looked back.

Since our inception in 2020 we’ve covered smaller games like Temtem, Grounded, Biomutant, and more, but we’ve also been lucky enough to cover big AAA-games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Outriders, and Far Cry 6. It’s amazing to think this is just the beginning, and at some point, I know I’ll scroll back through our collection of videos and remember them all with fondness, but as for right now, it’s all eyes on the future.

Our dreams for Legacy Gaming extend well beyond just the two of us. Our eyes are set on eSports, charity work, expanding our team, and so much more, but for now, it’s time to get back on the grind and create another Legacy Gaming video…we’ll see you next time.
